Rhodes, of Pittsburgh, was one of many soldiers participating in marksmanship qualification training. “This training prepares them for going into theatre,” said Beard, of Draper, Va.
Sgt. John Howe, an intelligence analyst, G-2, 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, distributes ammunition to soldiers as they prepare to qualify for M-16 marksmanship training at Camp Dawson, W. Va. Nov. 21. “I make sure the zero and qualification range moves quickly and efficiently and make sure all soldiers that pass through qualify or better,” said Howe, a Chicago native. He tracked which soldiers were trained and kept accountability of the ammunition.
